Located in the municipality of Pinilla de Fermoselle, province of Zamora, the Mirador of the Duero River Meander rises as a natural watchtower over the river’s course. From its 440 metres of altitude, you can admire the grand curvature traced by the Duero in this area, forming a perfect meander that gives the viewpoint its name.

From there, follow the signs to the Camino de los Arrieros, an ancient path once used by muleteers to transport goods between Spain and Portugal. The path climbs gently through holm oak groves, rewarding you with increasingly spectacular views of the Duero.

After about 2 kilometres of walking, you will arrive at the Mirador of the Meander. An information panel provides details about the landscape before you. Take your time to enjoy the views, breathe fresh air and feel the peace that pervades this magical place.
