Viewpoints and Waterfalls
Falla viewpoint in Villarino de los Aires
One of the oldest settlements, characterised by its elevated location and good visibility, making it one of the viewpoints with the best views of the Arribes.


Castle Viewpoint
Located in Fermoselle itself, specifically in the Castle of Doña Urraca, it offers beautiful views of the Arribes del Duero.




The Priest's Rock
This viewpoint is a must-see attraction located very close to Fermoselle. You can see the terraced fields next to the cliff that runs along the River Duero. Stunning views at dusk.


Pozo de los Humos in Pereña de la Ribera
Located in Pereña de la Ribera, Pozo de los Humos is an incredible natural waterfall with a drop of more than 50 metres, down which flows the River Uces, a tributary of the River Duero.
You can look out from the footbridge that juts out over the void to contemplate the cloud of steam left by the waterfall on the winding path, as well as visit a natural cave with cave paintings in Palla Rubia.




El Torojón or Los Barrancos viewpoint
Right at the end of Calle del Guapo or Cuesta del Seco, after climbing a bunch of steep stairs, we find this unique viewpoint where you can rest on a stone bench provided for that purpose. You can see the village below your feet and a spectacular view of the Arribes and Portugal.
Terraplén Viewpoint
Located on Calle Terraplén, next to Plaza Mayor. After climbing some stairs, you can see the terraced fields, the river and part of the town.
Las Peñas Viewpoint
Access is from Calle Corral Concejo, in the historic quarter, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the houses, terraces and Arribes.
Las Escaleras Viewpoint
Next to Fermoselle, along what is known as the Carabinieri's path or the Stairs. A route that is well worth taking for its orchards and spectacular views of both the town of Fermoselle and Los Arribes.
Picón de Felipe en Aldeadávila
Located in Aldeadávila de la Ribera, in the province of Salamanca, this viewpoint juts out over the waters of the reservoir and can be reached after a kilometre-and-a-half walk.
Fraile Viewpoint in Aldeadávila
An impressive viewpoint located in the Aldeadávila de la Ribera dam area, featuring a rock secured with railings, a ramp and steps, which can be reached by car.
