Puente Requejo
Also popularly known as 'Puente Pino' for being close to the municipalities of Pino del Oro and Villadepera, it is an engineering work from 1914, standing 90 metres above the river, which was quite innovative at the time.
It opened communication between Sayago and Aliste, which were previously almost cut off from each other.
Fariza
Belonging to the Sayago region, it is part of the Arribes del Duero Natural Park and is located near the village of Fermoselle.
In this area, prehistoric and Roman archaeological remains have been found, such as a stele attached to the church, the Gran Bridge crossing the Pisón River, and the ancient Vetton hillfort of Virgen del Castillo, later the site of the hermitage of the same name.
It is essential to explore the stone crosses, various bridges, fountains, and mills, all of great ethnographic interest, visit the hermitage of Virgen del Castillo near the deep Duero River gorge, and enjoy the spectacular views from the 'Mirador de Las Barrancas'.
Banco el Hullón in Villadepera
Accessible via a 4-kilometre trail from Villadepera or Moralina de Sayago, this newly built wooden Hullón bench allows visitors to enjoy the beauty and silence of the Arribes.
Almendra Dam
A hydroelectric engineering work on the Tormes River near Cibanal. It is the largest and tallest dam in Spain, with a height of 202 metres and a reservoir covering 8,650 hectares.
